Every piece we make is cut to a measurement, so the measurement comes first. Below is how to take yours at home, and how each reading translates across the international sizing scales.
A ring is sized by the inner circumference of the band. There are two ways to find yours at home, and both need nothing more than a ruler.
Cut a thin strip of paper, or take a piece of string that does not stretch. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat against a ruler, and read the length in centimeters. That is your inner circumference.
Take a ring already worn on the intended finger and rest it on a ruler. Measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, at its widest point. That is your inner diameter.
Find your measurement in the table below and take the size on the same row. If your reading sits between two rows, choose the larger.

Conversions between national scales are nearest equivalents; when in doubt, trust the millimeters.
Still unsure
Write to the atelier and we will talk it through, whether that is a measurement, a stone, or the way a piece should be finished.
